Last night of the vacation. We take off tomorrow morning. I want to leave a note to myself here, which isn’t exactly STATUS, but I don’t want this on cb.c or on my new posterous account.

I’m frustrated. I’m frustrated that other people are rude and don’t share. In this case, I’m talking about the cabin. This cabin and the two to the left of it all share a common dock and beach. I didn’t know this before renting it, but when I discovered it, that didn’t seem to be a big deal.

Well, it was, but not from my side. The other families who were using the other cabins were a lot more possessive, and a lot more stand-offish. I was raised that what’s mine is yours. I was raised that if there were kids around, the grown-ups did everything to make the kids feel included and accommodated.

This is partly over something as stupid as marshmallows. The other family was roasting some marshmallows over the fire down by the water. My kid was swimming in the water with a local girl. When they came out to get dry, no one offered them a marshmallow, no one offered them a place at the fire.

WTF? They’re little kids. It’s marshmallows. SHARE, you loser f-cks!

To the plus, this is motivation. I will buy my own lakeside residence in the coming years. And even then? I will share.

Apple store couldn’t help me. AT&T didn’t have any 3Gs phones. Suck.

Decided against it. Video’s not all that YET. Will be, mebbe.

The iPhone 3G is dead. I’m going to buy a 3GS. Why the heck not? I just donated my Flip to a charity, so I’m down one video camera anyway.

Using this as a status posting blog .If you want to know where I am, what I’m doing, etc, I’d recommend using this feed as the prime point of update. At least that’s the plan. We’ll see if I stick with it.
